Social welfare payments
The Department of Social Protection pays support such as Jobseeker’s, Child Benefit, One-Parent Family Payment and Disability Allowance. Most payments are applied for online or at your local Intreo centre.

- Apply on MyWelfare.ie or at your local Intreo centre.
- Answer any letters quickly — late replies can stop a payment.
- Tell them about changes (new job, new address, new baby).
